Hello, Anyone There?

Ok…I know I haven’t blogged in awhile. In a long while. My goal is to at least get a few post up a week. I know that’s a long shot but please keep me accountable. I apologize!  

This post is here to get things moving. I read about 15 different blogs a day from all different topic. Mostly church tech topics. This one stuck out to me today and reminded me of HCC and our old video room. Man, we have come along way in the past 2 years.And Here!

God has truly blessed HCC and our Production Staff of Volunteers! Thanks again for all you guys do and all the hard work you done and are going to do!

Another Thought

On top of what was just talked about, I wanted to share a quote that I know was sent out to most everyone, but really is a good thing to keep in mind as we serve the Lord with our talents…

Of course our intention is to serve the Lord and communicate the truth through what we do, and then putting the effort into it to do it the best we can for His kingdom!

Past Weekend

Thanks to all of you who have stepped up and helped out this past weekend. It was very busy with the new children’s wing, picnic and worship services. It was a very successful weekend! We have gotten some great response from Joe sermon and the vision of the church. 

As we launch these venues it’s going to get crazy! From the technology we use, to the crew we are going to need every week to pull it off! What I need you guys to do, is to think of a few people that go to our church that you think would like to get involved in the production team.  We have to grow our team. No questions asked! I need you guys to be leaders and help Mark and I train others as they join our team. Please pray for our HCC staff and pastors as we launch these new venues. Pray that God would bless our decisions so we can bless others – One Community at a Time!

Our first order of blogging is the announcement of Planning Center. This is a really cool site that all of Worship and Media ministries are starting to use. It will give us the capability to keep everyone on the same page. We can schedule events, people, songs, orders of worship and communicate to all the volunteers about what’s coming up in the weeks ahead. We will be launching Planning Center this month. More info to come on this kick butt website! I give it 2 thumbs up!
